Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that produces results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them only to answer your message.
Automatically Collected Data
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review aggregated information to maintain the service and understand which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Information Is Used
This limited information helps us operate the site, diagnose errors, measure overall traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles about individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to City of Bainbridge Island portals, Kitsap County and Washington offices, library resources, or third-party search tools. Each destination applies its own privacy policy to information submitted there. Sponsored search results are also supplied by an outside company and operate under that provider's rules.
Parties That Process Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
Data Security and Retention
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because visitors do not create accounts, this service holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete personal data depend on the law that applies to you and the type of data involved. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, governs covered consumer health data, while breach-notification duties appear in RCW 19.255 and RCW 42.56.590. These laws do not create a universal right to erase public records. Government disclosure is governed separately by the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for data we hold. Use the Contact page to submit a request. Records held by Bainbridge Island, Kitsap County, or Washington offices remain under the custodian's control.
Policy Revisions
Any revised policy will appear on this page. Your continued use after an update signifies acceptance of the new version.
